The Comparative Neuromechanics Laboratory measures neuromechanical interactions during locomotion in humans and other animals to identify control strategies and environment coupling. The group performs comparative experiments across species to link biomechanics, neural signaling, and motor control mechanisms. Researchers integrate physiological, biomechanical, and environmental measurements to study adaptation and motor learning after acute and chronic changes. The team studies motor learning processes relevant to clinical rehabilitation and elite sports performance.
